Our Calling & Mission

To empower houses of worship through Bible-based, occupational perspective training so individuals with disabilities and their families can fully participate in worship, discipleship, and community life.

Core Beliefs:

  • We are OPEN: offering Opportunities for Participation, Empowerment, and Nurture.
  • Every person is created in God's image and called to fellowship within the body of Christ.
  • Houses of worship must reflect the love and power of Christ by making worship accessible for all in acts of service that demonstrate our love for the Lord Jesus.
  • Children and adults with special needs have exceptional needs, and need our support to bring out all of their exceptional needs in service and action.

Our Work and Works:

  • Provide churches, families, and children with tools that support spiritual growth, social participation, and family well-being.
  • Equip volunteers with effective, compassionate training.

Founders

Exceptional Needs Programs, Inc. was formed by Tim Cassidy and Karen Francois-Duncombe, OTD, OTR/L. Karen's lifelong mission has been education and care for the special-needs population through her work in occupational therapy. As a born-again Christian, Tim is driven to serve those in need and is blessed to have met Karen and to have organized this company.
